Sega faces unfair labor apply criticism for deliberate mass layoff of union members

Staff at Sega of America are accusing the online game firm of "dangerous religion bargaining with staff" for its plan to put off dozens of momentary staff. These momentary workers make up 40 % of the union's bargaining unit and largely work in high quality assurance and localization, which the group describes as "important to Sega's success."

The afternoon after their assembly, the CWA stated Sega introduced its proposal to the affected workers via captive viewers conferences. "We consider it is a clear case of dangerous religion bargaining," the CWA wrote in its criticism, since Sega dealt straight with the union members and "violated establishment" by telling them they're shedding their jobs. 

"Sega won’t be allowed to get away with this illegal conduct," Elise Willacker, Senior QA Tester Temp, stated in an announcement. "We name on the corporate to make all momentary workers everlasting and return to the bargaining desk in good religion. There isn’t any different simply different." As Kotaku notes, the group's criticism is now within the palms of the Nationwide Labor Relations Board, however it might take some time to resolve and will not stop the layoffs from happening.
